Finanly

ERP made easy

The ease of a bookkeeping app. The depth of an ERP.

Finanly sits on a real ledger of record — ERPNext today — and gives you the parts founders actually touch: invoices, parties, accounts, landed cost, revaluation. Without the ERP's forms.

Sales, purchase, recurring invoicesBranded PDF from the ledgerLanded cost: 19 audited endpoints
  • Runs on your own hardware
  • AI never writes SQL
  • Tenant isolation by Postgres RLS
  • Every irreversible action audited
  • Statements parity-gated hourly

You shouldn't need to learn an ERP to run on one. Finanly keeps the ledger's rigor and hides the ledger's forms.

Invoicing

Invoices that post where they belong.

Sales, purchase and recurring invoices with modern forms, item search, warehouses, tax breakdowns and a branded PDF rendered from the ledger of record. Send from the page.

  • Branded PDF generated by the ERP connector
  • Recurring schedules
  • Email sending with preview

Landed Cost Engine

True landed COGS, per SKU.

Attach multiple invoices — freight, duty, brokerage, the goods themselves — to an inbound shipment, choose a distribution mode, allocate, post, and correct. Idempotent and audited across 19 endpoints; Shopify fulfilments then recognise COGS from stock entries at the true landed value.

  • Multi-invoice shipments
  • FIFO valuation and repost
  • Daily inventory sync

Also on the surface

The parts of the ERP you actually open.

Inventory & COGS Sync

Shopify fulfilments become stock entries; disposals and refunds flow back. Inventory syncs daily and COGS is recognised per fulfilment, not estimated.

Product Catalog & Metadata

Products with the ERP's custom fields surfaced in Finanly — the same metadata drives report dimensions and Ask vocabulary.

Customers, Suppliers & Map

Every party geocoded and grouped by territory; Shopify customers synced with returns and group tags.

Multi-currency & FX Revaluation

EUR and USD accounts side by side; revaluation runs as a preview → approve → submit export with idempotency keys.

Chart of accounts & cost centers

Browse and maintain the structure without leaving Finanly; cost centers are required where the company needs them.

Organic Compliance (built in)

Mass balance, trace-back, supplier certifications and audit reports — Organiko's engine inside the same ledger.

FAQ

Straight answers

Which ERPs?

ERPNext today, through a dedicated connector that holds its own credentials. QuickBooks Online and Xero connectors are planned, not shipped — we list them as such on the connectors page.

Do I still have the ERP?

Yes. It remains the ledger of record; Finanly posts idempotent journal, payment and invoice entries to it and keeps its own append-only audit log. You can open the ERP any time and see exactly what Finanly wrote.

How does landed cost get to the SKU?

You attach every invoice that belongs to an inbound shipment, pick a distribution mode, and Finanly allocates the extra cost across the received items and posts it to the ledger. Corrections repost with the same idempotency key, so a fix never duplicates a landed-cost voucher.

Does inventory reconcile with Shopify?

Fulfilments in Shopify become stock entries in the ledger and COGS is recognised per fulfilment at FIFO value; refunds and disposals flow back. The inventory sync runs daily at 03:00 and a baseline job exists for first-time alignment.

Can I invoice from Finanly?

Yes — sales, purchase and recurring invoices with item search, warehouses and tax breakdowns. The branded PDF is rendered from the ledger of record and can be emailed from the invoice page with a preview.

Multi-currency?

Accounts can be held in EUR, USD and other currencies. Reporting measures carry base-currency amounts, and FX revaluation is an approval-gated export: preview the effect, create, submit — each step with an idempotency key.

What are 'parties' and why a map?

Customers and suppliers, with territories and geocodes. The map view shows where revenue and spend actually sit; Shopify customers sync with their return history and group tags so a Shopify order and an ERP customer are the same party.

What's different from just using the ERP?

You keep the ERP's rigor without its forms. Finanly shows the eight things founders open — invoices, parties, accounts, products, landed cost, inventory, FX, statements — with a modern surface, undo and audit, and a private AI that can answer questions across all of them.

Is organic compliance really built in?

Yes. Organiko's compliance engine — mass balance, lot trace-back, supplier certifications and audit reports — runs inside Finanly on the same ledger and the same tenant isolation. It's a plan-gated feature, so it only shows for tenants that need it.

Can I migrate from spreadsheets or another tool?

Bank history comes in through the connectors and backfills; the ERP's chart of accounts, parties and products are read from the ledger. There's no magic importer for years of spreadsheet categorizations — the three-tier categorizer learns from what you accept, quickly.
